Chateau d’Esclans Whispering Angel Rose 2014-Cotes De Provence

11065 copy

Whispering Angel is a blend of Grenache, Rolle, Cinsault, Syrah, and Mourvedre grapes. Strikingly pale pink in color, the aromas are fresh and fruity. On the palate, it is bone dry through the finish. The name really suits the delicate nature of this wine.  $23.99

Winemaker’s Notes
This beautiful rosé evokes Hamptons sunsets, tinged with pink and copper. Aromas of ripe local fruit–cantaloupe, strawberry and peach–fill the glass. The mouth-feel is alive and textured with vibrant, tropical flavors like honeydew melon. Bright acidity provides balance and the finish is long and layered like dusk over our vineyard.  $23.99

PAPPY VAN WINKLE’S FAMILY RESERVE 23 YEAR OLD-KENTUKY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

Pappy23

Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23yr
 95.6 Proof
This very rare, limited edition bourbon takes generations of distilling know-how to produce. Only the most careful and expensive distilling method can be used to create a whiskey as special as this one. This is the same distillation as our famous 20 year old Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve. These barrels were carefully selected from the heart of the warehouse. This whiskey should be enjoyed neat. Any ice or water will dilute the uniqueness.
Rated “Five Stars” by Paul Pacult.  $2,500.00

Critical Acclaim

Wine Enthusiast – “Blueberries and purple fruits get distinct seasoning from maple syrup, licorice, crushed Italian herbs and minerality in this wine from the underappreciated Cuyama Valley. The palate is quite wound up, with blueberry, black lava rocks and unrelenting herb flavors just poking out. This will unwind very nicely, so drink 2018–2028.”

Wilfred Wong of Wine.com – “A pretty impressive effort from Santa Barbara County, the 2012 Nadia Cabernet exhibits ripe black fruit and sweet earth in the aromas and on the palate; lasts nicely all through the wine’s finish. (Tasted: April 23, 2015, San Francisco, CA)”  $22.99
